Simple pleasures
This week has been rather busy & stressful; being in the last year of my masters means that most weeks are like this, but I think it’s so important to find moments of pleasure even in the smallest things. In fact, it’s those small things that can make all the difference, so here’s a list of some of my favourite simple pleasures…
- a fresh, hot cup of tea (especially flavoured tea!)
- a handwritten letter from a good friend
- mix cds & discovering new music
- sunny, autumn days
- a new issue of a favourite magazine
- a child’s hug
- pretty smelling shower gel, first thing in the morning
- the sound of rain on the roof at night
- watching an episode of your favourite TV show (for us, it’s The Daily Show, so we get to enjoy this one quite often!)
- finding time to read a chapter of a great book
- intellectually stimulating conversations at random moments
- free makeup & perfume samples
- having a catnap on the train
- having a to-do list – and actually doing what’s on it
- the smell of the Lush store!
- having someone in your life who understands you so well
- wearing a beautiful perfume scent that you can smell throughout the day
- looking forward to a meal that tastes even better than you imagined
- “I love you” messages from friends
- listening to your favourite song on repeat

Oooh lovely <3
I love snuggling in bed on stormy days/nights, hot baths and face masks, flicking through back copies of my favourite magazines, learning new things and re-reading childhood novels (esp. Enid Blyton!)
(I could go on, but I don’t want to fill up your comments section! hehe)

Some time before, I did need to buy a car for my corporation but I did not earn enough cash and couldn’t purchase anything. Thank goodness my mate proposed to get the loan from trustworthy creditors. Thus, I acted that and used to be satisfied with my financial loan.
