Lace & Stars is a blog run by an Australian girl called Jade, a lover of pretty things. I keep paper scrapbooks of pictures, cutouts, magazine clippings, photographs etc of things that inspire me, and I suppose this is an electronic version of that.

This is my little place to share fashion, homewares, accessories, jewellery, handmade items, music, art, stories and other such things that I find beautiful and inspiring; to showcase amazing people and recommend things to try; to share some little pieces of beauty in the world with other people.

I am 28 & an accountant, a zine writer & a stepmother. I adore faerytales & whimsical things, mythology & stories about other worlds, politics, books, photography, fashion magazines, Alice in Wonderland, Francesca Lia Block books, the movie Mirrormask, female singer-songwriters, travelling, handwritten letters & journals, Lula magazine, lipgloss and mix cds. I am finishing a Masters degree in October 2009, getting married in April 2010, and trying to remember that no matter how busy life gets, there should always be time for magic and inspiration.
